I wanted to share a few samples of how some of my clients have incorporated photography from our portrait session in their homes. One idea is to create a gallery wall of photos. One of my clients below hired me for a year-long portrait session and she used white frames and chose an image from each session for her gallery wall. Another client put photographs of her maternity portraits in the baby's nursery. Now that her children are a few years older, she has replaced these photographs with more recent portraits I have taken for her. Lastly, one of my clients recently remodeled her home and had her bookshelves custom built to fit two canvas gallery wraps of her children at their one-year old portrait sessions. I love all of these ideas!
Alma Mater
I'm up late after a wedding in Chapel Hill, my alma mater, reliving the good ole' days. Oh the memories of walking through the quad, passing the Pit, Carolina Inn and Chi-O house....going to Top of the Hill, getting coffee and scones from Fosters, and yes, we did just order Gumby's late night. If you are a UNC grad you know what I am talking about ;) I just photographed Cambey & David's wedding weekend, and I can't even begin to tell you how sweet this couple is. I just love them and their families! We can't wait to share photos with you soon. Go Heels!
East to West
We are traveling quite a bit this month for some amazing weddings: Last weekend was a beautiful wedding in Sea Island, GA; we are currently in Park City, Utah shooting yet another gorgeous wedding celebration and head to Chapel Hill, NC in just a few weeks! A shot below that Jenica captured of me Friday shooting my favorite trees - Aspens - before the bridal luncheon. We'll be posting photos soon...
